The Lightweight Panels project was launched on the initiative of Ergosun – a leader in innovation in the Polish solar industry – in cooperation with global pioneers of modern PV construction. We worked side by side with experienced engineers, combining expertise in materials technology, load-bearing structures and energy performance optimization.
The result? The lightest PV structure in Poland, designed for roofs with low load-bearing capacity – from industrial halls, through historic buildings, to temporary structures. The aluminum system is significantly lighter than steel, resistant to corrosion, and its tested aerodynamics minimize the need for ballast or anchors. We target it primarily at large companies and commercial investors, for whom high installation output and reliability are key criteria when choosing a technology.
Our goal is to make solar installations possible where it was previously impossible – without compromising on durability, performance or safety. It's an answer to real market needs – installation is fast and non-invasive.

The difference that changes the game
We compared two solutions for commercial roofs: the standard system used in large installations, and our proprietary ultra-lightweight solution combining a modern structure with an innovative module. Both offer comparable power output, yet they differ in one key parameter – weight. A traditional system weighs around 20 kg/m², our solution – only 5 kg/m², which is four times less.
